I got flowers for Valentine's Day! Joey brought these over plus a bottle of champagne and a 6-pack of beer. We watched PCU and drank the entire bottle of champage. It was a very good end to a pretty shitty day.

In other news, the shit that goes on in my life... makes my fucking head spin. That's all.

IIIIIII was not aware that my favorite female vocalist of all time came out with a solo album. How did I not know!??

In any case, it's Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins - Rabbit Fur Coat [I'd heard a couple songs from it, but didn't realize they were from a solo album--or that it was even OUT].. I'm going to buy it tomorrow at work when I bring back a wireless USB adaptor that didn't work out.. I downloaded it for now, it's absolutely GORGEOUS. This is the kind of album that I live for. Gorgeous female vocals, hand-claps, acoustic guitar, general feel-good excellent music.

Batman is having a bad dream. He's sleeping on top of Fern's cage and twitching his whiskers and tail. I've never seen him do that before, it's hilarious.

it was a freakin awesome time. cat and i called the cops on [and proceeded to chase] a truck full of drunk rednecks. then tonight, i went out to dinner with my dad and barbara and joe and my dad gave me $50 and my mom's wedding ring. it's absolutely gorgeous. it's kind of weird how much my hands look like hers with it on, but it's also very comforting. makes me feel safe. :]

it's my birthday! how exciting! i have cramps and i have to work and kinda feel crappy and have, so far, slept all day. haha

we [me, christa, jessi, mike, brian, jason, cat and julia] went to wally's last night and i had a jolly rancher [? wally's gave it to me for free for my bday], a mai tai [jessi said it was good! and it was!] and a jack & coke [oh my god it had maybe a tablespoon on coke in it but sooo good!]. i don't usually drink liquor very much, so when i do, i get drunk quickly. it was fun though. ^_^

afterwards, julia, cat and i went to steak n shake where i proceeded to drink my water with a spoon.

Okay, so. I was off work Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Thursday, I went to Orlando to visit Joshy and Meagle. I went to IBar for the first time, which, had I not been slightly plastered, would probably not have been as much fun. It was pretty much amazing though. Plus I missed those boys. :]

Then, on a whim, decided that my friend Caley needed to be visited. Caley lives in Melbourne, which is about an hour from Orlando. I'd never been to Melbourne before, and I'm also not one for planning things very far in advance, so I went.

Friday night: Caley's boyfriend [Josh]'s band had practice. We got Chinese food and went for a little bit. Then we had a fire in a steel fire pit and got good and toasted. The beer was good and I had a great time. Good people. Warm fire!
